Playturf poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing is poured on site in two layers. A thick, impact-absorbing base layer sits under a coloured wear layer that children play on. Base depth is set to the fall height of your equipment, measured under CAN/CSA Z614.
Unlike loose-fill materials such as wood chips or gravel, PIP rubber stays in place and maintains a more reliable surface over time.
Playturf uses Canadian recycled rubber, which may make your project eligible for grant funding.
